As a member of the VVMBA you will help to grow and strengthen a unified central voice in the Vail Valley supporting soft surface trails. This unified voice is critical to making and keeping soft surface trails a top community priority and advancing local trail initiatives.

As the Vail Valley’s local chapter of the International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA), becoming a member of VVMBA has the added benefit of automatically becoming a member of IMBA. This means that the local impact of your VVMBA membership is bolstered by the international influence of IMBA. IMBA is the world’s premier soft surface trails organization with 80,000 members. Your membership in IMBA helps to support their staff of experts that work tirelessly to train trail builders, coordinate with land managers and advocate for legislation that affects soft surface trail usage and access on a broad scale.

When joining IMBA, you will be asked to select your local chapter affiliation. When you do this, you are joining and supporting VVMBA; a portion of all membership yearly fees are allocated to the local IMBA chapters. Membership starts at just $35 per year, and your tax-deductible membership contribution entitles you to great benefits including:
